3) doc about 2 unrelated murders. seems to have been made deliberately boring to prove a point

2) bleak & brutal revenge movie. K. Kurosawa’s direction feels effortless as usual
3) cute short about a cat on a whimsical adventure
4) stunning animation but lack of narrative gets tedious

3) rare live action feature by Švankmajer. Captivating, often nauseating
4) strong premise & lead, weak everything else, loses momentum almost immediately
