Anyone ever donated a car to, e.g., NPR? Other org? Wanna walk me thru it?
Shoulda sold it years ago, but now repair is more than the car is worth & trying to figure out options.
She's moved me across the country more times than I can count (photos of better times), but I'm ready to be car-free

Got bar mitts specifically intended for my style of handlebars (drop-down w dual-position breaks + externally routed cables) and cannot for the life of me figure out how to install. no instructions, Bar Mitts website ones not succeeding for me, and can't find a video of this style. Help! #bikechi

If I wasn't already convinced of @thewaroncars.bsky.social, flying into NYC at night and seeing streams of red taillights would 10000% convince me. Maybe people just need to see it from above?

10/10 recommend taking transit to a wedding on a snowy night so you can be winter on the outside, black-tie on the inside. (And also having that wedding be at the cultural center so you can be on a Metra home within 7 minutes of deciding to call it quits for the night)

Why are the Sunday metra headways distributed like this? Alternating between 30 minutes and 90 minutes. Wouldn't hourly be better, and still be the same total number of trains?

Hyde Park TJ's needs more bike parking -- and TJ's says they have more! But landlord (UChicago) won't give permit to install. All 3 racks are often full. If full today (chilly, windy, rainy), all the more on a warm, sunny day. Squeezed 9 bikes on 3 racks: one with 4, one with 3, one with standard 2.

Any ideas what this guy was doing at 11:58pm last night sitting on (and blocking) the LFT right at the NB beginning of the curve around the aquarium? Did not even pretend to move as I biked towards him. Wrong answers only.
