i think whether or not we wanna admit it we owe a great debt to those early internet male-dominated gts communities full of “you like that little man?” schlock. i’m grateful for our newer more fem/queer spaces but idk if i’d even have realized that i’m queer or a woman without the giantess community

I know. It's made me so bitterly angry.

I don't know how to convince people to give up on Meta though. They do not want you on their platform if you're a sex worker. They've shown complete negligent disdain for the needs and safety of queer and trans people. Why won't you bail?

This is one thing I've actually been keen to do. Spark up a community on this side of the Atlantic. I had a meeting with my archiving partners today, and one thing we discussed was community events surrounding the acquisition of my work on size.

That is why I don't really like using "Kink" on its own to describe our interests. It's a shorthand I often find myself using to explain it to folk outside of size spaces, but it's not entirely accurate for that reason. There *are* folk into size for SFW reasons, and they shouldn't be segregated.

Do you think that any sense of "community" could ever be built between people who share size fantasies or affinities? Because I have certainly seen community spaces forged from such ties. What might it take to build a community amongst size folks?

I tend to lean against using "fetish" in the context of size, because I don't view it as being a particularly useful phrase in this context. That being said, I am far less opposed to it as a general phrase within sexological contexts than I once was.

I think I am edging towards "fandom" as a preferred term, too. I tend to use all four of "Affinity", "Fandom", "Fantasy", and "Kink", with regards to people's relationships with size, mostly because I'm unsure if any one umbrella term could yet cover all facets of our interests in size perfectly.

I think of vore as being something that intersects with size, without being fully in union with it too. A lot of commonalities, sure, but they are two very distinct things.

I can tell you, as someone who lives on the muddy borderlands where a space that was hitherto, culturally, definitively metropolitan London suddenly mutates into raw, unfiltered Essex, that question is way more complicated than it seems lol!

I would be, yes! Part of the reason I committed to this is because of the complete dearth of research into this space. Literally anything to jump off from would be appreciated!
