I'm so tired of the lunacy of our local school board. In October they banned several books from the 10th grade curriculum, so the teachers had to scramble to find alternatives. Last night they voted against three of the 5 alternatives. They kept "Little Women", and "The Great Gatsby" ... facepalm

These are our kiddos. Last week’s they were out protesting every morning and will continue this week.
Elizabethtown High School students (PA) are tired of showing up to board meetings and being ignored, so they protested the cruel policies being enacted there. I hadn't realized that the board doesn't allow middle and high school libraries to buy new books now.

Watching in surge in the really bad flu season. Two key notes. The current flu shot was not aimed directly at this strain so it makes sense to see this surge. That by no means is any reason to not get the shot. He helps lower your risk of infection and help mitigate symptoms if you contract it.

Learning to understand the difference between what I am expecting of myself (cognitively, emotionally, and physically) and what I am capable of daily has been hard.
Combine that with not being aware of my needs in each area to recuperate, and you are left with a recipe for constant burnout.
