Same bio as my twitter one..
No doubt a talent, but does feel that Ducati seat (& the VR46 team) could yield better results with other riders.

Same. Just walked in and saw Red Flag and commentators tones very restrained.
Seeing a clear sky’s but a Red Flag at Sepang gave me nasty vibes.
Wish them all a well & speedy recovery

@sully27gp.bsky.social figured was also a good one as these grapes missed out on the 2021 race while on vine, so needed to experience a PI race! 😂

That said respect all podium finishers, they all rode well & deserve the kudos.

NZ and Aus will get this… poor bloody Miller

To quote the old Toyota Hilux add “Bugger”

Was almost willing to overlook it as he spoke about PI, then mentioned F1 was similar and back in the sin bin again!

Agree, that Aussies are a touch fickle and ‘cozzie livin’ are biting. But when PI WSBK can attract almost 50k over same period, the Aus GP Corp as promoter doesn’t help!

Well spotted!!

Turn 1? Near the campground?

Appears to be ‘blowing the dog of the chain’ to use the local parlance.

Though always a chance of wind between GF & Mel Cup in Vic. Again, more reasons why the race is held in the wrong season….

Difficult to be nuanced in 300 characters…
Agree that more needs to be done to manage safety at PI & a “she’ll be right mate” attitude is unacceptable.
Just stating that what works in one scenario may not apply here. Australia has quite a history of biological control measures going wrong…
October 18, 2025 at 5:04 AM
I never implied that Simon and respectfully a bad faith take. I said it’s challenging at PI.
Airports are not the same as issue at PI is “ground strike” not “airstrike” and so you are seeking different measures. Again it’s not nothing, it’s not the same (it’s different to Flemington btw)
October 18, 2025 at 4:57 AM
An airport is an ecological wasteland while PI is in the middle of some increasingly complex and diverse biology. If it was between the Fairy Penguins and MotoGP at PI. $ says races goes.
But perhaps a marshals car first or even drones might assist.
October 18, 2025 at 4:53 AM
There are issues with this at PI. And they are respectfully overlooked in your article, which I had read before.
PI situated with the UNESCO biosphere does have some additional control measures.
Sonic devices may work, but would need lots of vetting due to protected coastal region.
