21 Democrat representatives voted to continue funding an agency that terrorizes and murders U.S. citizens and residents. Meanwhile, 21 Republicans held strong against it. If the Democratic Party continues to prove incapable of saving democracy, there is only one possible, and grim, outcome.

Even if you don't have time to read all 83 pages of Judge Reyes's opinion barring the Trump administration from rescinding Temporary Protected Status for 350,000+ Haitians, please at least check out the four-page introduction.

It's a tour de force:

"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation are men who want crops without plowing the ground . . . . Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will."

NY Times headline today says Trump is setting "America in the road to conquest." As is often the case with corporate journalists, this is deceptive propaganda. In fact, he and his enablers are guilty of the international crime of aggression and are wrecking both US security and world public order.

I wonder whether the present state of politics in the USA has convinced any free speech absolutists that their dogma ignores the grim reality that human populations are easily propagandized in deference to the fairytale of free will.

Now is a good time to remember that government officials making war on U.S. citizens commit treason. Treason is a capital crime. 18 U.S.C. sec. 2381.

Trump has had Jerome Powell indicted as revenge for not using inflation to destroy the middle class quite fast enough, and as a warning to Powell's replacement.

Donald Trump and Stephen Miller threatening U.S. ally Denmark not only violates the UN Charter, it directly serves our/NATO's enemies. It is therefore treason. They must be brought to justice. Any member of Congress who protects them is complicit in treason and must equally be brought to justice.

For a brief time, the U.S. President and Congress preferred to make an example of vicious dictators rather than set an example for them.

To belabor the obvious, seizing a Venezuelan oil tanker violates international law.

If the entire University of Oklahoma faculty does not go on strike in solidarity with Mel Curth and force the despicable university administration to its knees, then that faculty does not deserve its academic freedom.

In case anyone was wondering whether the techno-oligarchs who direct the programming of AI will use it to insulate their power and immunize themselves from the consequences of their crimes, Grok's recent antics regarding Musk answer your question. Hilariously pathetic? Yes. Dangerous? Also yes.

News for Trump: Disobeying illegal orders is not sedition, it's required by law (specifically, the UCMJ). And death is a possible penalty for sedition only for persons in the military, not civilians, including senators or congressional representatives.

The problem with Larry Summers isn't his association with Jeffrey Epstein, it's his association with Larry Summers. It hardly needs repeating that university faculty have a duty to put the interests of students before their own. The minute you start scheming to manipulate a student, you've failed.

The Trump Administration's murders of individuals on boats in international waters violates international law generally, and international human rights law specifically, regardless of whether they are drug traffickers. That part is irrelevant. Using the military for this purpose is a war crime.
