Personally I found it annoying that my October 2024 preorder shipped in November 2025 and now they just throw translucent colored plastic on them to deal with our frustration

I think it's a desire to find the "high" of sorts when I'm "locked in" on a project, but it's at odds with a lot of factors for sure
