A friend of mine invited me on a date. She’d bought tickets to a Jimmy Cliff concert in Tokyo. He recently passed on and I am reminded of his big heart and joyous love. We got married and she introduced me to Bob Marley. She too has passed on. Happy that your wife is still with you. Cheers.

I find of late that I of an advancing age become more and more grateful for so many things, particularly that I made it this far, that I have a roof over my head, good heating, hot water, a fridge and a 4 burner stove and a beautiful son who would do anything to help his father. Ahhhh… I know of anniversaries. They are not always easy to deal with, yet on this day, Thanksgiving Day and in the spirit of it we can be thankful and grateful for those who loved us and helped us get to where we are now. I wish you a blessed day from Canada to you.

I enjoyed their music, but at the time in my twenties I didn't take them seriously. I just thought of them as "pop" music, but as is the case in my life one day I found myself watching a Bee Gees special consert on TV and as if hit by a lightening bolt I realised their absolute genius. Cheers.
