The next version of Total Replay will show super hi-res artwork while loading a game on supported hardware. This works on the 16-bit Apple IIgs and any 8-bit Apple II with a VidHD card — even an Apple ][+!

I really, truly can not express how mind-blowing this Windwalker title anthem is. This is a stock Apple ][ running at 1 MHz. No third-party sound card. Just the built-in $C030 speaker that blips.

Today's aesthetic is this full-screen scroll & palette inversion (Windwalker, 1989, Apple II). This is standard HGR graphics; the entire game works on an Apple II Plus from 1979.
