Here's a screenshot of Registry Editor, where you make the actual changes. It looks a lot like file explorer because it's the same idea of nested folders. As long as you don't have a history of unintentionally grabbing the wrong file it will be just as easy here:

More specifically (on PC via your browser), you're going to go to the gear icon on the upper-right of your Gmail window and select the "See all settings" button. This is what it looks like *after* you've unchecked the section I've highlighted and reload Gmail.

Black & white film is a good introduction to developing both in terms of cost & complexity. Shoot in black and white for a while and it will change the way you think about light & form.
