Yes. But also, make driving less convenient. LTNs, bypasses that become the default route to get by car from one side of town to another, robust traffic calming methods, etc.

Have had far more head injuries from kitchen cabinets than cycling, must mean we need compulsory kitchen helmets. 😜

Back in 2013 when I returned to cycling the year before, I bought a cargo trailer to go get 20kg of litter from pet shop across the city. I did this to help build my strength to cycle further. I still got this trailer but now tired & in need of renovation.

Still not ridden along the Embankment, never seem to be near that area when I'm in London.
