Normally, Nintendo Life has large side bars of ad space, but like this, it's gone. there's still a large ad on display at the top of the page though. A screenshot of the same page, but slightly scrolled down. Now we can see the true power of using Nintendo Life on a CRT. There are now NO ads displaying, when usually the whole left and right side of the screen would have them prominently

If I had to take an aimless stab at what's causing this, my guess would be sparking happening underneath the little suction cup thingy that's in CRTs. I have absolutely no idea if that's really it, though. It's just a hunch.

Or maybe they actually *do* just do this, and it's fine...
