My new idea: a gay erotic gardening thriller called "Bottom Heat"

Plant waterer update... this amaryllis is the holiday gift that keeps on giving. Four flowers on the first stem (now defunct), six flowers on the second, three on a third, and a fourth stem on the way... my doggie argues she's still cuter!

Being a plant waterer has its benefits.... notice on the right there's another stem about to pop out flowers so I might end up with eight at the same time, possibly twelve (?!) since there's yet another stem next to the second stem.

One of my salves in these dark times is memorizing poems while swimming laps. Today it's "Self-Portrait with Syliva Plath's Braid" by Diane Seuss (@dseuss.bsky.social)
