A huge problem with the meme is that it conflates "conservative" with "Republican". If the chart went beyond "conservative" in 2008, it would have gone far to the right to get to Republican. Today, it would have to go another mile farther right (into fascist/Nazi territory) to get to Republican.

Democracy won't return to this failed state any time in the foreseeable future. The plutocrats own every branch of the government lock, stock and barrel. The only way to restore democracy is to partition the country and let the red states have the dystopian autocracy they crave.

If the blatant corruption/bad faith of Roberts, Thomas, and Alito haven't been enough to demolish the reputation of that court, nothing can do the trick.
