A surprisingly good beer from Puglia

In the 9th century crypt of the old cathedral, Brescia. The crucifix is more recent. Is the cross made out of old railway sleepers? See photo to follow

I should have written ‘Engine Shed’ Brewery, a relatively new venture with beers named after famous steam engines, e.g. ‘Black Five’.
Drinking an excellent beer from Swaffham's Train Shed Brewery!

Also anyone leading with the idea of London - Berlin direct trains can’t be taken seriously. If there are to be UK-Germany trains it’ll be to Köln and Frankfurt, as journey times to those are ok and - within reason - there’s terminal space.

Berlin is too far, too remote, also has station headaches.

The call for next year's @businesshistoryc.bsky.social annual meeting is up (the deadline is Oct 17th). The theme is Co-creation. Is there anyone who might be interesting in developing a panel on the Co-creation of business histories with collaborators from outside both academia & the corporation.
