Tomorrow marks the 6th anniversary of the UK leaving the EU. And to mark the occasion I have returned to a very personal tale of a friendship ruined - and the private regret that followed.

I hope it will resonate.

They should put this a health warning on money.
We gotta come up with a better system than “everything rests on whether these twelve billionnaires are nice”

It’s a good point. You never hear of anything kind or decent in the Epstein files. In millions of pages of documents, there doesn’t seem to be any mention of selfless acts of decency.

If ever there was a moment to tax the super rich and win votes as a result it's here... so expect Starmer not to do that

Epstein has done for wealth what those pictures of cancerous lungs on cigarette packets did for the glamour of smoking.

People who make billions out of billions are invariably horrible, vicious, abusive, nasty, bitter human beings who think very highly of themselves and their needs and their pile of money and absolutely nothing of other human beings.

If the Epstein scandal has reminded us of anything it is that.

Crawling so far up Musk's backside that he'll likely meet the team from GB news coming the other way.

It's almost like they create monsters that don't exist... and then set out to slay them.

Shockingly (to no one who has been following local government finances), councils are not rife with waste and fraud ...

Actually he doesn't give a toss. He could have voted for/against the 2 child cap but didn't bother to turn up for the Commons vote yesterday.

Stock resigned. So what is the point of this fine and whose interests does it serve?

Certainly not those of the students and staff at University of Sussex.

Lift half a million children out of poverty... or save 5p off a pint... choices choices

A 5p saving on a pint is so negligible that nobody would even notice it
Nigel Farage is going to "save pubs" by cutting 5p off the price of a pint of beer...

The £3 billion cost will be funded by reinstating the two-child benefit limit.

This might be the worst policy anyone has ever come up with.
