He applied for asylum in 2024 and was granted asylum in April 2025, under the Trump administration, according to three law enforcement sources.

The news first reported the guardsmen were killed. Now, the latest is that they were critically wounded. Which is it, news media? Either way, it is tragic, especially when the WV governor voluntarily sent them at Trump's request for more political theater.

West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey now has blood on his hands for the deaths of two of his state's national guardsmen that he illegally deployed to DC in his effort to kowtow to President Trump to somehow make the city "safer and more beautiful." Just a political BS move that cost two lives.

The courts need to stop the Border Patrol from violating the law. They only have jurisdiction within 100 miles from any land or ocean border. They are constantly violating people's 4th Amendment right where random and arbitrary stops are unconstitutional due to racial profiling due to dark skin.

Watching the news regarding the Trump/Mamdani meeting, I couldn't help but think of that old song, "Smiling Faces Sometimes" by the Undisputed Truth. Trump really put on a show, but something tells me Mamdani better not turn his back on the poisonous snake or he will get bit.

Trump doesn't get to decide what is a lawful order to the military members. There are checks in place, like JAG attorneys in the Pentagon. Trump could order military members to kill any American who protests against Trump, calling it a lawful order. That would be like a Hitler/gestapo repeat.
