I think it’s that I separate “pop culture” fanart from “fanart of characters you wanna torture and rotate in your head” there is such a huge difference. Idk if I can just do an “Astarion tribute drawing” you know?

this is better for productivity than if I get into a video game hyperfixation though...... right now I can't even look at a game without feeling ill....... I either hate something or I obsess over it

my hyperfixations often change at the drop of a hat but recently it's been drawing which is great for improvement and morale but it means if I'm not doing art I feel like life has lost all meaning 🫣

sometimes its easy because they'll just link it. other times they'll be following their own alt or someone elses' alt follows their alt. but sometimes you get the extra difficult one that's very well hidden, but you know it's out there. I have my ways.
