Yeah but I got the impression with your last few big releases that you didn't really get a whole lot of satisfaction/joy out of finishing them (felt more like you were trying to exorcise demons tbh) and at that point I think... leaving in more fun stuff and taking a bit longer wouldn't hurt

Also probably something worth thinking about, One Piece is one of the most popular manga of all time for a reason. Oda knows how to lean into shit he enjoys even if it's kinda stupid and pointless sometimes!!! Choose joy

If it's fun then it adds something to the story. I know this post was probably somewhat joking, but I sometimes feel like you treat every facet of life you enjoy as if it was a character flaw to be eradicated. 😟

I feel this deeply. u_u I still get a personal satisfaction out of putting them on my own website though, if that's any incentive to try again. It's fun getting to personalize everything (once you get past the initial setup hurdles....)
