Let's use round numbers: say Cooper and Chawinga are on $600K combined salary. They stay on the SEI list for two months, or 1/6th of a year. That translates into $100K in extra salary cap space for KC Current. You can use that to sign a player, or...
NWSL Reminder: It is beneficial for teams and their salary caps to put people retroactively on the 2025 SEI list even if they are expected to play in 2026. There is a reduced salary cap hit of that player which is prorated to how much time they were not on active roster.

This reminds me of a story I heard from a relative. She had a co-worker who was invited to Mar-a-Lago last year. Coworker said that at dinner, DJT requested two songs be played over the speakers: Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA”and… a recording of Donald Trump singing “God Bless America”.

I think KC Current should request a rule change that any team with 3 games in a week with a mid-week match at a neutral site should require a charter flight for the mid-week match, and that should be in addition to the permitted number of charter flight bookings in a season (3 round-trip or 6 legs).
