Jo Ann Allen Boyce Dies at 84; Braved Mobs in Integrating a School

She was one of the Clinton 12, Black students who broke a race barrier by entering a Tennessee high school in 1956 in the face of harassment by white segregationists.

So, El Fasher looks like one of the worst single event atrocities to happen this century so far, but the evidence has come in such a trickle it seems to only now be getting verified
At least 60,000 murdered in Sudanese city, which resembles ‘a slaughterhouse’

Exactly! The first thing I did after Mamdani won was check the exit polls to see if all the inflatables worked with the melanin challenged. They didn't.
Yep, if you look at the election wins by Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger, Democractic leadership as well as many people on social media credit rural outreach. Essentially saying hush up brown folks. The exit polls say otherwise. Both of them loss the white vote, POC brought them to victory.

This. This was the formative event of my generation & our entire politics in 🇺🇸. The structural break after which we were no longer a full democracy, when 5 Wizards In Robes decided they were a super-legislature & counting all the actual votes didn’t matter. The rest has been 25 years of commentary.
25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.

If the same number of people that get on here and complain that this is useless would actually call their representatives in support of the Articles may we could actually get something done.
Call To Action: Urgent: Call Congress right now and demand that they support Al Green’s Articles of Impeachment for Trump.

Flood the lines, your voice is needed. #3E

Congressman Al Green Calls for a Vote to Impeach Donald Trump.

The last time he confronted Trump he was dragged out as House Republicans and Democrats sneered at him due to his criticism of Israel’s highly documented crimes against humanity in Gaza. Will they betray the United States again?

This would explain a lot. The frequent MRI scans and trips to John Hopkins, the bruising on the hands, the ankle swelling, and the week long death watch where he finally appeared with a drooping face.
Have recently read about the very expensive drug Kisunla.

It is used to slow dementia & is infused intravenously every 4 weeks.
It requires frequent MRI scans before treatment & can cause brain swelling or fluid build up & sometimes leads to stroke.

Maybe this is what's happening with trump.

Right! If they were really philanthropists, they wouldn't be billionaires.
Can I let you in on a little secret?

Billionaire philanthropy isn’t charity.

It’s PR to distract you from low wages, labor exploitation, and a tax system that’s rigged for the rich.

Busta, no doubt! He was a part of 2 iterations of greatness--in Leaders of the New School and as a solo artist.
