Ah yeah, I'm just a bit of a purist. It was only Alis due to the 4 character limitation in the Master System, but her name was always meant to be Alisa. It's just my personal preference as a translator, but I do get that it can be off-putting to some who prefer what they grew up with ^^;

Omg some of these “End” scenarios are so brutal 💀😭 I think it’s fair to use some chapters as a “save point” because restarting is just too much lol. I’d go back to the last place you could win a battle and see if you can repeat it to gain CP

Also you will need to grind CP by repeating the easy battles and etc, it seems counter intuitive in book form but it’s kinda like spamming battles in an RPG video game.

Ok so for equipment baes CP increases, the game text itself will list any boosts an item may have when you obtain it. So for example in Ch. 214 it says “obtain item: Laconia sword, add +5 CP”. Sadly there isn’t a table for it (but I like that idea!)
