Some days my best is inking 2 pgs of comics, thumbnailing 10 more, & answering all my emails after 8 hrs at the dayjob.

Other days my best is getting out of bed, & feeding my cat and myself.

For anyone who needs to hear it, the advice to "always do your best" does not necessarily mean "always be the best."

Our "best" can change from day to day. Every day is different.

Doing your best just means being kind with yourself—knowing what you want and having the courage to go after it.
