it got cold and I was worried about the journey back home but we warmed up with dinner in Ballard and a stop at Push/Pull and the bike back was soooo pleasant. I love pier 58 at night! saw a lot of new bike infrastructure today! 🥰

Of COURSE the Seattle Times guy who thinks online news isn't real news is railing against news vouchers, which he says consist of Katie Wilson "taking $10 million from taxpayers" to fund people he looks down on—independent news producers who now all have to compete with each other for supporters.

Just got out of a community council meeting in Georgetown where I was expecting the issue of a potential lane reduction on E Marginal Way to dominate.

Instead, there were more questions about getting MORE bike infrastructure, pedestrian crossings, and sidewalk upgrades.

I have never felt more strongly about someone being the right person for the job, for me it's Claudia 💪🥰 especially if you are a transit voter. Transit Riders Union, The Urbanist, Seattle Subway, Move Redmond, Eastside Urbanism have all endorsed her too.

I'm honestly so surprised that catastrophic shit like this doesn't happen more often on/around the bridge. it is designed like a highway but signed 40 mph at this end with lots of conflict points, short merges, blind curves, often poor visibility. people drive crazy here. this is devastating.
