A lot of churches have a perverse morality where a person you know can do no wrong because they “have a good heart” and that logic is applied externally too- no one can be held accountable because the hearts of others are unknowable. That plus the insularity and power structure makes abuse so likely

Been really enjoying South of Midnight, especially the stop-motion style animation.
I don’t know if it was intentional but there’s these ghosts you follow around and a Harriet Tubman-esque ghost parkours around to lead them, showing you moves. It’s the Key & Peele skit unironically and it’s funny

It’s funny, the counter argument is always about wait times or taxes. Wait times are already horrendous, and taxes couldn’t possibly go up more than health insurance already costs when insurance executives stop getting a slice. I swear people start with “USA has good healthcare” and work backwards

Passing and skating won’t, but how many of these guys have been taught how to properly screen and rebound? There are a lot of “grit” skills that guys just don’t get practice with if they are playing a different role their entire career
