I was so happy to be able to get away to a meditation retreat. My garden is not so happy about it. This week will be a busy one cleaning things up.

I didn't have to go to hot yoga today because I just did yoga outside.

It is so sad that our country is run by anti-intellectual war mongers. I have been doing daily meditation practice for peace, and I do hope you and others will join me in this.

Attacking people who are oppressed is not a misunderstanding. It is an act of hate that is attempting to use Buddhism as a shield. I do not regard those comments as any sort of rule. Such comments are homophobic, abusive and wrong just like religious figures who used the Bible to justify racism.

I think we should concentrate on treating all people with love and compassion. We should stop shaming people around their sexuality, particularly when these beliefs are rooted in oppression.
LGBTQ is unrelated to sexual misconduct, but consent is, something controlling men would do well to learn.

Also, you do not get to police my beliefs or how I practice. Buddhism has many sects which have a variety of beliefs and traditions. At the centre of my Buddhism is compassion and love for all living beings. If your dogma comes before how you treat others I will not stay silent as you hurt others

I just want everyone to know that I completely support LGBTQ rights. If you are part of the community you are safe with me.

If you are harassing or in any way bothering someone who is LGBTQ, I will block you. And if you are using Buddhism to do it, you are very misguided and no better than MAGA.
