A small pearl bordered Fritillary landed nearby (middle of a very stingy stinging nettle bush), so I crept in, got very stung, and got a close up of its eye (will post the rest of the butterfly later). I love, light and mottled insect eyes. #weirdfetish #blueeyes #butterfly #macro #wildlife
