One of my favorited hiking spots with an amazing oak tree and a small pool. The pool was dry during the summer, but rains have resurrected it. When we get more rain, there will be a small waterfall pouring into the pool.

The upper left corner shows part of a huge oak tree that has multiple trunks and long branches. Grass grows along side it as well as other shrubbery. At the base of the tree is a small pond filled with red and brown fallen leaves. Reflections of the sky provide splashes of blue in the pool. The pool was dry, but rain helped resurrect it, and when we get more rain, there will be a small waterfall at the base of the tree into the pool. This is on the W Trail in the Irish Hills of San Luis Obispo, California.
