Food for thought... There's a lot of talk about speeding up game development, given how many recent games took 5-7 years to make. But many of those were hampered by the switch from Unreal 4 to 5. And ALL of them lost months to covid. Perhaps one way to make games faster is to not have a pandemic

One of the biggest player requests for ESO has been confirmed to be the current plan going forward: No more time stasis.

They stated, contingent on player enjoyment, they intend for future stories to advance the timeline, taking place after previous events.
