People who try to make the "inland northwest" a thing baffle me. The largest city is Spokane, the only "metro area" is the Tri-Cities, and then you are looking at Yakima, Missoula, CDA, Lewiston and Walla Walla. 98% of this map is empty nothing. No distinct culture, no real landmarks, etc. Why?

In regard to "books that changed my life" I present the UFO Fieldguide. I found it in my middle school library and checked it out for two straight years. I'm not really into ufos but it was a non-school subject being presented very seriously. Also, I've never found that same book again. Random photo

Apparently Funko is about to go under. They way oversaturated , raised prices, and started selling nfts. There are a hundred Spider-mans, 200 Batmans, and figures for every anime ever. That put them in competition with high level figures. They could have sold chunky desk toys for normies forever.
