In 2024, the Coast Guard conducted more than 250 targeted interceptions in the Caribbean of boats believed to be transporting drugs based on intel. Only 55 were actually transporting drugs; the rest (80%) were innocent.

So, it is official, Hegseth issued illegal orders. It is also clear the orders violate the Due Process Clause of the Constitution since no war has been declared and no other authorizations from Congress exist. Making matters worse, it not even clear the drugs were bound for the US.

Fentanyl. Drug Overdoses, including Fentanyl, are not even in the top 20 causes of death in the USA. Cancer, Diabetes, Covid, Heart Disease all in the top 10, and all have had their research funding cut. They aren't murdering just Venezuelans. However they are killing us much slower.
