Exactly. The Parties and Elites aim at those who may have two of those incomes in their house, be comfortable enough to throw an extra $100 at the shopping, have a little left at the end of the pay cycle, enough to make them feel "threatened" by a capital gains (whatever they want to call it).

This is part of the Elite Rich's plan to divide, using the Right parties. Make the NZ middle-higher earners think/feel they're part of the elite rich.
$120-$300k a year is not elite. The next tax plan must be aimed at the top 1-2%, or else they will target the $120-$300k earners.
