So jumped on TikTok the other day to search up Zohran Mamdani but typed in "zohan" instead of "Zohran" and now my feed has tons of "You don't mess with the Zohan" shorts. 😂😂😂

Your probably right about the compiler probably throwing in dependencies for x11, gnome and kde etc.

Now the question becomes do i want to push a Linux or Mac version of the game :) I did this test more as an experiment to see if it could be done.

It's interesting to note that on Linux the binary was alot bigger than on mac or windows. It must have more boot code to get the engine runtime to run on that platform? Or possibly the default unreal engine compiler options include something like debugging symbols... will have to research it more.

I was able to port my game over to Mac and Linux today. It took some setup but am pleasantly surprised at how well the game binaries run on both platforms. I was actually really shocked!!

Working on terminal UIs for station inventories and clinics... Also worked on some outside city cinema scenes and fleshing on population flocks and a vendor district for one of the densely populated systems.

Who at Samsung thought that making a VR headset for $1800 was a good idea in this economy?!? Especially considering you can get Quest for so much cheaper and have a great VR experience already. It’s like they looked at the flop that was apple vision and said - we can do that also!

Originally was just going to complete a 16 hour fast but felt so good at the end that I decided to try and go to my first 36 hour fast… almost there… just 3 more hours left!!! Can’t imagine how hard a 72 hr fast is.

Playing Vampire The Masquerade Bloodline 2 this morning. The combat is pretty satisfying and love the art direction in the game… a lot of the dialogue scenes look more like animated oil painting than actual 3d models

Steam sale online… was looking at stalker 2 ultimate edition and possibly destiny 2 ultimate edition… part of me feels like destiny 2 though is money grab. They have so many dlcs, it feels like just the same content and mechanics in each.

Last week, started intermittent fasting as part of regimen… so far I’ve completed 4x18 hour fasts & 1x26 hour fast. The 26 hour fast was a slight challenge but I think I could have gone 30-36 hours. This week I’m going to do all 18 hour fasts & try my first 36 hour fast #fasting #fitness #motivation
