Hoje em dia é cada vez mais estranho ver que um jogo anunciado não deva ter DLC (no momento) porque o jogo já está pronto, está completo

Sakurai mais um modo de jogo em Kirby Air Riders: Road Trip, um modo que faz um remix dos demais modo de jogo do game propondo desafios em sequência. Por esse modo será possível desbloquear novas máquinas e segredos.

Um novo modo de jogo foi apresentado: Top Ride é para seções curtas de gameplay com visão superior. Esse modo usa todas as funções e máquinas do jogo "normal".
