Two boxes of (mostly) NMEs off to the dump later. Seems a shame to chuck out something that's been up the loft 20 odd years but kept a few for reading through the week. Some random covers in the replies.

One of they random tunes that came into my head the other day and upon listening again just now, it's still superb. Maya Jane Coles before she went big, on Ralph Lawson's timelessly brilliant 2020 Vision label.

This'll put a smile on yer face if you're needing a mid week lift.
Giving this one another plug, for anyone needing blowing away some cobwebs after the weekend…

2+ hours of chuggy reworks of rave classics..it shouldn’t work really, and yet…

Totally forgot all about this. 😀 The best curveballs are always the ones that sound like a terrible idea on paper but have everyone smiling.

Swimming galas are utter shite. Been here since 10.30 to watch my kid race at 4pm and then 6. Got the match on but shitty plastic chairs and sick at the thought of anything else out the cafe. This is like a 15 hour layover without a bar. She's definitely getting a football/basketball this Xmas 😉

So while you're all carrying on, welded to the sofa or dragging yourself off to the guzzler for the afternoon. I'm sweating it out here until at least 6 o'clock 🤢

Love it when a track you've completely forgotten about a brilliant track and a mate or a mix reminds you of it again.

Old man's funeral tomorrow. Bit mixed emotions at the moment. Having a drink but don't want to be hanging. A tightrope he'd laugh at me currently walking. Just hope the service does him proud.

ICYMI, my post this week was on Hyper Sports.

Read about:

“Our accountant just couldn’t believe it. He thought we’d end the year with about £2,000 in profits”. So said Mark Butler, co-founder of Imagine Software, in a profile in the first ever issue of Ho…

Token effort at something wholesome this weekend with a walk up Largo Law. Stunning views across Fife, bit steep going up mind.

No flies on Jezza, how does he stay 2 steps ahead all of the time?
Labour could have made the case for a humane immigration system that treats refugees with dignity and respect.

Instead, they have fanned the flames of racism and emboldened the far-right.

Labour Is Paving the Path to Fascism
As Labour embraces anti-migrant rhetoric, Jeremy Corbyn argues that the government is demonising vulnerable people to distract from its domestic failures.
