it's not that i ever doubted that being a barista was a skilled position, but my year-long effort to try to produce a half-decent latte at home has convinced me that a good barista is easily more skilled than virtually every c-suite executive on the planet

"Content" is a blatantly misleading term to use for fanworks. Fanworks are the antithesis of content; content is produced for individual gain and consuming, whereas fanworks are created out of inspiration and the communal experience.
start using "fanworks" again instead of "content" let's go people

I won’t be negative online for long but it is pretty heavy on me lately. I will go back to creating & having fun when I can but sometimes you need to stop and allow yourself to feel and express things that aren’t just joy & whimsy.
