Happy to be here
Frank choosing a formation we never played before against a team so settled in theirs, on a stage as big as the NLD, is a big swing. As much as ppl will say he was playing it safe with a back 7, he wasn't really. To expect players to do well in constantly changing systems is a big ask. #coys

Thomas Frank saying we were supposed to be more pressing... with whom? It was basically it was a 5-2-2-1 out of possession and 9-0-1 in possession. I don't see how anything in our shape was supposed to help us press. #coys

If Frank has shown anything it's the ability to learn and change. It's unfair to him that we've gone through so many managers since Poch, that our patience is thin. Frank should get a season to make errors and correct and adapt. #coys

The first half strategy failed and Frank will admit it. This was not like the Chelsea game, because against Chel we tried to overrun the midfield and in this game we abandoned it. Both teams pressed us high and we continue to have problems when that happens - v Monaco, v Bournemouth, too. #coys

Spence and Danso on the same side when both guys have heavy touches. No midfield but we are trying to win second balls up the field. Arsenal can just easily overload everywhere and we got nothing because we've committed so much to the defensive line. #coys

Seems like playing with no midfield is having an effect on our game #coys

There's a bit of disagreement on whether or not Frank has improved Spurs' defense. If you were to strictly look at backline and it's formation, there's not a ton Frank has done here, but then again, what can he really do? This is more of a personnel issue. #coys

A teenager jumps to death at square one and an officer was involved and a driver kills a pedestrian on Eglinton within 24 hours of each other and neither incident will illicit even a yawn from Mississauga residents. It's as dystopian as whatever is happening in the states right now. Ffs.

Odobert celebrating Tels goal more than Tel is everything. #coys

Putting Spence and Richy on the same side of the pitch was way too negative. We really need more LB/RB options and should prioritize in the Jan window. Porro wasn't great either. This is turning out to be a lynchpin role on our team. #coys

Watched Top Gun: Maverick last night for the first time and it was terrible. Awkward, disjointed, way too much fan service, too long, and was basically boomer fodder. The characters behaved as if they all grew up watching the movie Top Gun.

Udogie makes a huge difference on the left. He and Odobert are a really nice partnership. Palhinha deserves some respect on his name, he made some great forward passes and Ive been told he can't do that. Tel and Richys goal were needed. Sarr looks really good in his new role, as does Xavi. #coys

I think we are improving, albeit slowly. We are showing more intent and structure in our build up, which wasnt really a thing even a few games ago. Frank constantly fiddling with the line up will pay off in the long run but is disruptive and as a result will take longer for everything to gel. #coys

The key factor in that goal, beyond Vic being unable to stay on the line, is that the corner should never have happened in the first place. We were way too loose with the ball in the closing minutes of the game when defending a lead. #coys

It's worrying that when a team presses us high up the pitch, we crumble. Bournemouth, Newcastle, Chelsea. #coys

It must be difficult for the players to go from Ange, who would do his best William Wallace impression before games to Frank, who says "they can take our lives, but they will not be able to take our throw ins!!" #coys

It turns out when you charge the highest seat prices in the league the fans get disgruntled when they see their team play poorly. #coys

This is the result of going in looking for a draw and no injuries. #coys

How can we be so dominated when the other team isn't dominant. We're the football team embodiment of the kid holding a boot to his own head.
a baby is laying on the ground with a boot on his head and the words " you holding the boot down on your own heads "

Fantastic, the pre-arranged changes at the 60th minute. #coys

Thomas Frank watching this game: Oh God I need to make changes but it's not the 60th minute yet.

How many terrible games does Porro need to have before we start reanimating the corpse of Serge Aurier? #coys

Ok I actually have to mute the game now, these comms are terrible. #coys

Xavi and Spence do not gel well, both have pretty heavy touches on the ball and as a result the ball is not well contained on our left. Xavi is 100% responsible for that goal, he could have turned his body and had tons of space to move into and instead he put it on Micky and then watched. #coys
