Adults telling me they grew up as iPad Kids makes me feel weird cus I was a whole ass adult when the iPad first came out.

On my way home today the ground was still a bit wet, so I was collecting some neat textures where someone from work walked by. I was like, "Please don't tell anyway I was taking pictures of the sidewalk."

I may never recover from this social interaction.

What's up #portfolioday I'm Darren and I'm a cartoonist/graphic designer double decker sandwich. Samples of my comics work are in this post and samples of my graphic design work will be in the reply!

The customer responds with "The usual - a large hazelnut green tea mocha with one pump of raspberry and one -". He is interrupted by the fourth panel which shows him opening up his wallet, which coughs. It has a couple of dollar bills and some dust bunnies. Panel five shows him holding out the bills and putting his finger in the air, sheepishly asking for "Make that one normal coffee. Black. Small."

She says "I may be out of my depth, but you'll find I swim just fine." Murder is just a step away from running on the deck. (3) this guy is clearly from out of town." Panel five is a closeup of Aquarius pointing with her thumb to herself, smirking. "Maybe I DID IT, to give myself work!" Panel six shows Aquarius pointing behind her with her thumb to the pool she emerged from earlier. She says "But it was in fact NONE of these people. Your killer is HERE!"

Panel four shows the girl filtered through the Wolf's red alert screen. He says "totally awesome. Just the ol' work bell chiming."

Panel seven shows the main character pulling out a toy of a gnome holding a pizza in his hands. The boss looks at it, shocked and says "is that...?" The main character confirms "yes. A genuine RUFUS ROMANO limited edition figurine. Only available at select locations during the Romano Pizza 20th Anniversary Celebration."

I find it really impressive that Nick.com still has video clips, full episodes, articles, character bios, and even GAMES - some of which are based on 10+ year old shows.

Meanwhile cartoonnetwork.com just redirects to HBO Max where you can watch a whopping nine shows.

I remember sitting in the Avatar panel back in 2017 and they were like, "Here is a look at the new designs for Aang" and everyone CHEERED and I was like, "Yeah. That's what he looks like."

Sometimes I feel like a weirdo when everyone I know is reading One Piece and Chainsaw Man while all I read is World Trigger.

Then whenever I interact with the World Trigger fandom I feel like I'm the only normal one.

The best sequence in the whole series is the 10 minutes a trex stomped around some city - do that but more.
