Churchill Park Master Plan Phase 3
Phase 3 construction works in early November, with the primary focus of completing the north staircase at Parkside Dr & Kipling Rd before winter. Work on other sections of the project may progress over the winter, weather depending.
HW anticipate completing the repairs, restoring water service, and reopening the road by 6:00 pm today (October 29, 2025).

Properties along Aberdeen Avenue near the watermain break may experience reduced or no water pressure during this period.
Hamilton Water (HW) is currently addressing a watermain break on Aberdeen, east side of Cottage Ave. To facilitate the necessary repairs, traffic restrictions will be in place on Aberdeen Ave between Cottage Ave and Mountain Ave, with traffic reduced to one lane in each direction (East/West).

November 4-8, 2025, marks Treaty Week in Ontario, an opportunity for us to deepen our understanding of legally binding treaties and their significance to Indigenous and non-Indigenous relationships and to the land.
Brian Charles is an off-reserve Band member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island and has worked collaboratively with a small group of knowledge keepers to research and assemble a physical repository of wampum belts connected to Ojibwa history.
