I needle felt also - along with my other fiber arts - plus a few other creative hobbies. 🙄 Alot of my art is Scottie themed for charity auction donation.

I would encourage you! Get a drop spindle & Abby Franquemont's book "Respect the Spindle"
Start collecting those brushings from Lucy! Great fiber for outer wear - especially gloves, mitts, wristlet.
I've got two-ply Great Pyrenees ready for the needles once the weather turns.

What charming wee Scots!!
I've experienced exactly what you're going thru many yrs ago when our 15yo Siamese suddenly took ill & it was diabetes. We fought & lobbied for compounding pharmacies when Jesn became ill & no one could supply the right insulin. Much easier to get meds today.

Cairn's are fantastic little dictators! The 'wheaten' in a Cairn is very different than a Scottie, too. So confusing. This was our Pippin - an outstanding Cairn & much missed.

Disability is one of the only minority groups you can join at any time.

Everyone thinks they will be the exception.

It won’t happen to them. They will “try harder” and overcome.

They think we’re failing.

It is not a moral failing and very few people will be the exception.

I assure you - she is a Scottie. Her color variety is wheaten.
There is a big difference in the body standard between Scotties & Westies.

I got my first Scottie when I was 7 years old. I've been smitten ever since. And tho we have our girls - we are blessed with the ability to foster other Scots for St.Louis Scottish Terrier Rescue ♡

It can take months (occasionally years) for a rescue to find their inner Dogness. Given time, training, & support - most become that legendary "special companion". Your Teddy looks like one alert buddy! Best of luck with him. Everyday together grows trust. He's got a good start ♡

Claire's very first night was a study in #CuddleTime. As a #Rescue #ScottishTerrier she immediately told her new #Silly-Hooman™️ that her place was on the bed, hurried in soft quilts. And she was correct.

As out darling man Pippin aged he discovered the #CuddleTime hack of wedging his wee #CairnTerrier body twixed Mom & the sofa, effectively trapping his Silly-Hooman™️ into cuddle compliance. Pippin was an extraordinary wise & clever #dog. And so #cute.
