It draws parallels to Breath of the Wild, which ALSO gives you the exact same rewards over and over and over for varying levels of actually-engaging-with-the-game gameplay.

At that point, the ones that require properly engaging with the game are devalued- you did all that extra work for something that the game itself values so poorly that you can find it by literally kicking a rock. Meanwhile, kicking a rock is treated as 1/7th of the content required to progress.

Going from one level to another might require you only find 7 of the damn things, but the area has 20+, and 12 of those 20+ are as simple as finding a sparkle on the ground and ground pounding it or punching a certain block, and 8 are actual "3D Mario Level Objectives" requiring actually engaging.

I don't know if I can find it but I watched a 2 hour long video on the value of Mario Odyssey's collectibles and it was pretty damn spot-on with the gist being that...when there are so many, and so many are so easily obtained, they all lose value. It becomes completely pointless to collect them.

I'm an hour into this game and it feels like what I always wanted out of Terraria. It's like Terraria if it had graphics that weren't awful, controls that weren't awful, and menus that weren't awful, and also Rimworld was there.

Also, if you drive a car, you're using gas, and some of your gas money is going to the same people. If you've bought something from CD Keys some of that money has already gone to the same people. There are a lot of things you already pay for...that go to the same people.

Believe it or not, optics actually do matter when you're trying to convince the people still hanging flags from the backs of their trucks that their barefoot kids in overalls with no shirts are pouring out of, and it actually is kind of a good idea to maybe make a protest EXPLICITLY america-focused!

Not sure about the latest Tintaverse comparison video. I don't experience any of the issues the Sims 4 footage shows, and footage from other players doesn't have them either. It's pretty clearly an issue with something on their end- likely the lot routing or hardware
