I’ve been proud to serve on Mattie’s Guild’s Board of Directors for many years. Our primary work centers on the promotion of Mattie’s possible cause of canonization.

Intentions are not shared, but rather placed into our prayer basket, which will be presented at the Offertory.
We will also have to be willing to look squarely at the democracies. Only then will we be able to tell a better story of what democracy can be, and must be, in this rapidly changing workd.
“If we want democracy to flourish, we will have to fight for it. We will have to nurture it. We will have to demonstrate its value, again and again, in improving the lives of ordinary people.
“Let us join together across denominations, religions and cultures to make a habit of empathy and reach out to those most in need. To share the blessings we enjoy and to advance the cause of peace in all corners of our world.
"Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared."
