I do think High Elves can work still. If you just give them enough crazy modern hairstyles, tattoos etc theres something there.

I've always been for just giving them a different model because theres no reason they -have- to be identical clones of the blood elf model, but thats never happening lol

Ethereals are just too perfect for a neutral race honestly, they're like the prototype for the whole concept that never actually happened to me.

Alliance has always struggled though, its why we kept getting weird retcons or OCs while Horde just got like, "hey its goblins"

For those that werent around, when Vulpera first showed up they didnt even have 3d eyes and their animations were identical to goblins. Then they mysteriously got updated with greater fidelity.

You can still see a relic of these old models with this boss lol
