Hello 👋
An undeniable advantage of working in cafes.

I just met a guy whom I had previously encountered 1-2 years ago at the same cafe. He is from the US, and I'm from Armenia.

He was surprised that I always work here. We had a very friendly discussion.

Guys I REALLY have anxiety due to all these Codex, Claude, Opus-Octopus-Quadropus AI.

But could anyone tell me whether there is an app like... say, Asana, Figma, Obsidian, whatever, which was written in a month, became popular and was written 90% by AI?

No-reply emails should be illegal.

Looks unusual but interesting
first time I'm seeing such method for auth

would you consider adding the random number as the only account ID?

Some insights about my newsletter engagement.

My open rates went up after I did this:

- Cleaned up inactive subscribers (it did not help that much)
- Changed my email to a new one, which is associated with my personal website

Love that feature on BlueSky, when they show similar accounts right in the profile.

Really looks good IMO.

Touched ice

(they say it's called work-life balance when you go out once/year out of your flat)

Imagine you have a few cards in your bank.

And then you get the monthly statement for each of the (+ accounts).

Rate the email subject 😅😅

The placement and appearance of the flag feel so aesthetic to me.

I have no idea whether it's good for accessibility, usability, UX, or any of those other terms, but it just looks nice :)

Maybe it's because of the dark theme that the flag appears prominent, I'm not sure.

One of the Worst UX Patterns 😡

No, never, don't, please. Don't turn avatars into checkboxes. It's impossible to guess that it works like that.

It might be "okay" for complex apps used by a narrow group of people, but generally - noooo 😫

This is one of my old screenshots.

It was marked as "Don't use a yellow background in chats because emojis, which are often yellow, might be absorbed by the background."

I'm not sure if that's exactly what happened, but it seems like it's a possible case.

I still have no idea what the difference is between a green circle and a green circle with a white inside.

Either I'm missing something, but this ad literally says it's a spa for men.

Disgusting.

UX tip 💡

Be careful with dark mode accessibility colors, otherwise you might end up with this

Btw, X doesn't have a system notification when they purge bots.

LI has it.
X posts it via some kind of... Doge account posting "BREAKING!!11".

But I might not be subscribed to this account or I might miss the post easily.

Thanks for notifying me that I made a post.

I will re-read it.

Marketplaces went completely crazy. 😶

Carrots? Will they burn? What carrots? What's going on in my messages?

A definition of disability I really like:

It’s a mismatch between human characteristics and environmental design - not a personal health condition.

It's somewhat of a dark pattern to highlight cancellation in red, as if something devastating will happen.

Or am I overthinking 🤔

That's the size your CTA should be 🔥

Every designer should know what it means.

If your place is not accessible, it's still better to make it clear that it's not accessible.

Rate my SUPER streak.

That's what I call reassuring UX. 😅
