Shu’s eyes dart towards Chiaki’s palm for a brief moment before he nods, the movement unnoticeable had Chiaki not focused on him. Upon receiving his permission, Chiaki closes the gap between Shu’s face and his palm, his thumb stroking the skin underneath softly.

After a successful first day of the Welcome Tour, Chiaki decides to visit Shu in his cabin. Just to make sure Shu takes proper care of himself.

It’s heavy. It tastes so bad. Nagisa is lucky he is Lufel’s business partner and leader. Lufel wouldn’t do this for anyone else!

Based on Lufel’s research on humans, it seems like they kiss the ones they hold affection for. A mighty task, considering his beak, but Lufel is sure it will be just fine. Nagisa is Wonder, after all—someone who meets and surpasses his expectations at the same time.

i do think umamusume overuses one dynamic essence for most character relationships (which is. ok? i guess? given the message/central theme of the overarching story) but the characters are so wildly different that it somehow ends up avoid being too stale to me, which is pretty cool
