Hell, not even celebrities. All a lot of people know is what they are willing to present. It's why abusers CAN go under the radar for so long, because they present themselves in such a way.

But living in fear of anyone being a terrible, person and constantly looking for red flags is no way to live.

I swear it's a way of coping. These people who are so obsessed with consuming "good" content by "good" people can't fathom consuming "bad/illegal" content. They assume only bad people consume and create "bad" content. So when the news about Gaiman broke, they couldn't cope. Their black and white

People under estimate what social support and room to fuck up will do for someone's well being. Nobody is perfect, no one is of a moral obligation to "recover" in a way dictated by others.

The more people who put in work to support others rather than saying "get therapy" the better
