Started playing Death Stranding 2 and my feelings about the first game remain: I really enjoy hikes across beautiful landscapes, punctuated by The Horrors
I do not particularly enjoy that the destination for these hikes is always like, the entrance to a warehouse

It is honestly kind of funny that I'm not that much of a furry as an adult because GOD did I think Klonoa was the coolest thing ever when I was 8 years old

I know I'm late to the party (I am not very good at video games) but I FINALLY beat Silksong and man. What a beautiful finale. What a beautiful game. Team Cherry really managed to do it all.

I was pretty excited for Demonschool and its gameplay, visuals, and music are all great, but man... it's writing is really not landing for me thus far. It feels like it's trying really hard to avoid the bloat of Persona series but has overcorrected and now nothing gets any space to breathe

"People who play guitar through a million effects should probably just be playing synthesizers instead" is a statement I've seen that has a kernel of truth to it, but does not account for the fact that synths are simply not sexy in the way guitars are

thinking a lot about trailers and hype buildup rn and honestly I don't know if I'm ever going to be as excited for the release of something as I was for Persona 5. I was very excited for Elden Ring, Silksong was hype as hell, but Persona 5's trailers and drip marketing were just... perfect
