If your IOT vlan is setup right, you won’t even need to change networks on your phone usually

Have to put away laundry before packing so I don’t lose my place, it’s all sorts of silly little things.

Have lists to clean out the truck so that it’s clean slate when I take it out, otherwise I’ll lose stuff mixing into existing clutter.

Forgot my hitch receiver when going to the trailer rental, wasted battery on the truck to round trip again. The feeling of just barely reigning in the chaos is overwhelming af.

First HPDE weekend of the year and the ADHD brain is hitting hard during prep. I’ve got lists on lists, and yet still manage to have to double back for things.

All IOT devices should go on an IOT WiFi pinned to 2.4 with 5 disabled, it’s immediately better.

You see this being true in so many spaces. Vehicles trying to reinvent climate control, streaming trying to reinvent media consumption, voice control for things that need one button press, etc. it’s so frustrating to see us take 5 steps sideways and 2 steps back in the name of “innovation”.
My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.

There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.

It never made sense for any Indian person in the US to support a movement whose self-stated purpose is to ethnically cleanse the US of Indian people.🙂🙃

I mean, it never made sense for anyone to join an ethnic cleansing movement. But to sign up to ethnically cleanse yourself? That's extra special.

Once you get to 0% once you realize just how much capacity these vehicles have. I was in sub freezing temps towing 5500lbs when it happened to me 😂

Yeah, it’s a great convenience but it’s also not a rule when you’ve got home L2 charging. For 2 years we only had L1 charging and missing a plug in meant having to hit a fast charger to make some of trips.

I used to be an Always Be Charging guy but realized it’s not really worth the extra step of always plugging in. Eventually, you realize that every now and then is enough based on your driving habits. Sometimes a single night doesn’t get us to 70-80% (131 kWh pack, 40A charger) but whatever.
