Cartoon characters are just cartoon characters. We take from them what we need and want, but characters are who they are. They have their own journeys. I think sometimes people forget the point of fiction. I’ve seen people let characters dictate their life, as have I. It’s not worth it.

Couples in shows are allowed to just exist
They don’t need some big dramatic arc, drama or fight
Heck they don’t even need to constantly be proclaiming their love
They can just be a couple existing together and enjoying each others company in a realistic manner
That doesn’t make them boring
