Reddit shuts down its NFT avatars project Three years after launching "Collectible Avatars", the NFT project they didn't want to call "NFTs" because they were already becoming kind of cringe, Reddit has decided to pull the plug. "Well, this is one of those posts. The kind that we hoped we would never have to write," they wrote. Reddit has ended submissions for new avatars, and will shut down its avatar shop, collection display on profiles, and NFT wallet feature. The feature is apparently so unused that the shutdown announcement garnered zero comments in the r/CollectibleAvatars subreddit. Besides posts relating to the shutdown, the most recent post in the subreddit was a year old. This is the second blockchain-based feature Reddit has sunset, following the October 2023 decision to end their "Community Points" feature.

O mais chato do joelho ruim é que eu não consigo ficar muito tempo na minha bancada, ou seja, eu só consigo ficar pouco tempo por dia no máximo no computador, boa parte do dia eu fico na cama onde consigo manter a perna mais estável e confortável

Sim, eu recebi o tal e-mail semana passada, e desativei pro meu canal nas configurações

Para quem quer saber onde fica, tem de ir no painel de gerenciamento de vídeos, configurações, fica no mesmo local onde você define o padrão de envios como a descrição padrão, idioma, etc

Ao fazer isso a dublagem não será ativada para os vídeos antigos e nem futuros automaticamente
Mas se por acaso o dono do canal perder essa janela de prazo, a dublagem automática será ativada em todos os vídeos antigos do canal, e o dono só poderá remover manualmente para cada vídeo individualmente

Ok então o YouTube simplesmente manda um e-mail pro dono do canal avisando que em alguns dias vão ativar as dublagens automáticas nos vídeos do canal
O dono do canal então tem só alguns dias para entrar nas configurações do canal e marcar que não deseja essa função ativa

If you ever decide to fully shutdown an ATProto labeler, make sure to remove all the labels from the respective profiles before you pull the plug (unless you intend to bring it back at some point and want to keep the labels around.

I wrote a script for this that I ran before shutting things down.

I really don't fully understand this feature

Is it to avoid people receiving ALL kind of notification from you? Like an auto-mute?

Is it to avoid people turning on the notification bell for all your posts?

I'm confused by the wording a bit

Sometimes the report can be used to "appeal" about an incorrect label
Like I often do to correct incorrect "potential Twitter screenshot" labels applied to other people's posts

But would be useful if the report flux were the opposite, you select the categories that apply to the labeler you choose
