The behavior changed too actually

Before the app was really detecting what you were writing and the most probable language you were using, to suggest the change if it was different

Now it detects in which language the post you are writing a reply to was declared to be, to suggest it for you

É, UI poderia encaixar melhor, porque experiência de usuário boa depende muito do ponto de vista de quem está falando

But @pipup.social is very similar but also improved a lot blogging with markdown and interoperability with other blogging apps
